U of MIAMI STANDOUT joins USBS

Former University of Miami 1B/3B standout and Anaheim Angels 11th round draft pick Danny Buxbaum has joined U.S. Baseball School as a Player Development Specialist! Danny will specialize in developing players hitting skills and fielding skills.
Danny started his collegiate career at Lake City (FL) Community College, where he received All State honors, as well as being named the MVP of the Conference.
From there, Danny attended the University of Miami under current U of M coach Jim Morris. At U of M Danny led the Hurricanes in home runs in 1994 and1995 with a combined total of 33 Home Runs and 2 year average of .345.
Danny was subsequently drafted in the 11th round by the Anaheim Angels in 1995, and proceeded to win the MVP and Batting Title of the Northwest League (A). Danny was also named to the All Star team in the Texas League (AA) in 1997 and 1998.
Danny played a total of four years with the Angels Organization compiling a .306 lifetime batting average before retiring in 1999 as a (AAA) player.
