TEAM PROGRAMS
U.S. Baseball School offers 8U-18U teams for players of all skill levels (Beginner-Superior). Our team program is designed to have players play at a level that they will be challenged but also put in a position to succeed and gain confidence. As the players skills improve, they each have the ability to be"promoted" to the next level.
Development Teams: Players who have little baseball experience and need to develop in all areas of the game. Skills level of our development program players is (currently) below average to average. GENERALLY will practice most of the time and play inter-squad games against other U.S. Baseball School players as appropriate. Player will stay at this level until skills improve to a "Future Stars" level. Generally 3-1 practices to game ratio.
"Future Stars" Teams: First year players to U.S. Baseball School who have experienced 1-2 years of high level play previously and whose skills and baseball knowledge are (currently) above average. Will stay at this level for up to a year to learn our systems and develop skills/gain baseball knowledge. GENERALLY 2 to 1 practice to game ratio.
"Select" Teams: Players who have been with U.S. Baseball School for a year or more who have also experienced 3-4 years of high level play previously and/or players we feel have the baseball knowledge and superior skills necessary to play at a VERY high level of play. GENERALLY 1-1 practice to game ratio.
"Elite" Teams: Tournament and Prospect teams made up of the top players in U.S. Baseball School.
Our team programs run (roughly) as follows:
- Spring Season: 1/15-5/30
- Summer Season: 6/15-8/15
- Fall Season: 9/5-11/15
- Winter Season: 12/1-12/31
