PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH COACHES
COACH CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
QUALITY COACHING IS KEY: U.S. Baseball School Coaches Certification Program offers coaches at all levels (Recreation, Little League, Travel, Middle School and High School) proper training, knowledge and baseball teaching techniques to ensure players are receiving accurate baseball information to develop the necessary skills to continue playing baseball at the highest level their talent will take them to.
THE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: As part of the certification program you will receive an in depth study guide containing information on the correct baseball skills (offensive and defensive), promoting sportsmanship, injury prevention, educating parents, maximizing practice time, nutrition, sports psychology, goal setting and more. You will also be given a DVD demonstrating proper techniques at the plate, in the field, on the bases and on the mound.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO BECOME CERTIFIED: Once you have read the study guide, viewed the DVD and you completely understand the information/techniques described and shown, you will be required to take and pass the certification exam in order to be officially acknowledged as a U.S. Baseball School- Certified Coach. Certifications last two years and you must attend two U.S. Baseball School sponsored coaches clinics annually to maintain active status.
TEAM INSTRUCTION
Have U.S. Baseball School Player Development Specialists bring structure and direction to your team practices. Our staff will implement a systematic approach to teaching your team (players AND coaches) all of the "team" and "individual" skills necessary to be successful in league or tournament play.
WHATS COVERED:
- Offensive and Hitting Skills (14 Major Skills including but not limited to proper swing, hitting to all fields, bunting, knowledge of strike zone, base-running)
- Defensive and Pitching Skills ( 18 Major Skills including but not limited to fielding techniques, catcher basics, cutoffs, backing up, pitching mechanics, pick-offs)
- Coaching Skills (8 Major skills including but not limited to goal setting, maximizing practice time, how to get the most out of your players, injury prevention , signs)
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
